The Department of Botany was established in 2020 which employs unique
teaching methods to impart knowledge and skills that are indispensable in the global market. The department is designed in order to create a peaceful learning
environment with all the required facilities.
The department is committed to provide a dynamic perspective to enrich the inherent talents in the minds of the students. It is equipped with the advanced laboratories, Seminar and lecture halls, Spectrophotometer, BOD incubator, micro photographic attachments, trinocular and binocular research microscopes, electronic balances, autoclaves and centrifuges etc.
Botanical excursions are undertaken to develop the interest of the students in plant specimens. The faculty members constantly augment themselves in various ways like participating and organising seminars, workshops, publishing articles etc.
